Dango Tactical Wallet: “Redefining the Wallet”
SLO 3D Printed Camera
Here’s some new evidence of the incredible advancement of 3D printing over the last few years. There is now a fully functional 35mm camera made entirely from 3D-printed parts. It’s the SLO 3D Printed Camera, a device engineered to discover ”a more authentic photograph to be found at the intersection of design and photography.”
The SLO 3D Printed Camera’s film cartridge, film path, film take-up spools, spool-rotating gears, shutter, aperture plane, lens, film access door, and lightproof box are all 3D printed. And both the lens and shutter system can be modified or replaced without getting a new camera thanks to its modular design. And as you can see right here, it takes some pretty interesting-looking photographs, too.
You can get a lot more information on the SLO 3D Printed Camera, and if you’re able to do any 3D printing yourself you can also download the source files for the camera, right here.
