‘Endless’: Frank Ocean Drops New Visual Album in Advance of Anticipated Record
OK, this is a little confusing, so I’ll just lay it out: There’s a new Frank Ocean visual album out on iTunes, but this is a different thing from the eagerly anticipated Boys Don’t Cry project, which incidentally is not called Boys Don’t Cry anymore. And much like the time between Channel Orange and the next Ocean joint, the new visual album is Endless.
Endless is 18 tracks and 45 minutes long, set in the same warehouse as the one being streamed live on Frank Ocean’s website, which only confuses things further. It contains an Isley Brothers cover, but the rest of it is all original material, so it’s really only semantics that’s keeping anyone from enjoying this as a true blue followup to Channel Orange.
There are probably some illegal streams on YouTube, but I’m going to link you to the video’s official spot on iTunes right here, where you can find out how to watch it on Apple Music. And the real new Frank Ocean album is set to drop this weekend, so stay tuned.
