“The Twin Towers”: Comedian Writes Spot-On 9/11 ‘Seinfeld’ Spec Script
’24×36: A Movie About Movie Posters’ Gets Trailer (Video)
Take a stroll through your neighborhood multiplex and you might become convinced that the art of the movie poster is dead, killed by uninteresting and formulaic designs. But it wasn’t always so, and it doesn’t have to stay that way, as an upcoming documentary entitled 24×36: A Movie About Movie Posters illustrates (so to speak).
Director Kevin Burke says “through interviews with art personalities from the past four decades, 24×36 examines the birth, death and resurrection of illustrated movie poster art.” If you’re interested in movies, posters, or just visual design, it should be a pretty compelling watch.
To see 24×36: A Movie About Movie Posters before it makes it to home video and/or streaming, you’ll have to go to this year’s Fantastic Fest in Austin, TX. But diehard posterfiends can watch a cool trailer for the movie below, and check out this and all the rest of Fantastic Fest’s 2016 offerings at the film festival’s official site here.
