Luxury Zebra Cro: Meet the Donut That Costs $2,000
Craft Beer Historian Being Sought by Smithsonian Institution
If you’ve spent your life ensconced in the world of craft beer, it’s possible that you’ve wasted a lot of time in the pursuit of knowledge and enjoyment of that particular field. But what if it turned out not to be such a waste after all? That could be the case if you get hired by the Smithsonian Food History Project as a craft beer historian, which is evidently a very real job.
The Smithsonian Food History Project craft beer historian will be responsible for three years of academic research into the history of craft beer, focusing on brewing and the associated cultural movement. And rather than getting paid in beer, there’s a not-too-shabby $65,000 salary plus benefits associated with the job.
You can get more information on the Smithsonian’s craft beer historian position right here, and you have until August 10th to submit your own application. Drink up, and good luck.
