Space History Auction

Yesterday afternoon in New York City, an exciting event for space enthusiasts all over the world took place, courtesy of the famous Bonhams auction house. It was the Space History auction, featuring all kinds of cool items from the international history of space exploration.

Unfortunately, if you weren’t at the Bonhams Space History auction you missed your chance to place bids on items like a full-scale vintage Sputnik-1 EMC/EMI lab model, astronaut Michael Collins’ Apollo 11, signed by the entire flight crew, Zenit-2, the Soviets’ first spy satellite, and much more. But since you probably weren’t ready to drop thousands on such pieces, maybe it was a good thing for your bank account that you missed it.

Besides, you can check out all the cool items and how much they sold for at the Bonhams Space History auction listing right here, and use the money you saved to buy something a little more practical.
