BeatBringer

The golden age of the boombox is far behind us, but that doesn’t mean we can’t learn something about its strengths and weaknesses in 2016. One fruit of those lessons is the BeatBringer, which combines the beat-bringing capabilities of a particularly high-end boombox with the more practical functionality of a backpack.

The real emphasis of the BeatBringer’s design isn’t portability, or lightness, or convenience. ¬†Instead, like Spinal Tap, it’s the loudest in its field. Its built-in four-channel amp, six-inch neodymium woofers and 25mm dome tweeters can blast out as much as 110 decibels of pure sound,¬†and its backpack-style straps make it relatively easy to carry, even if you can’t actually keep anything inside it. It’s also, naturally, Bluetooth compatible so you can pump any kind of music you have on hand directly through its speakers.

More information on the BeatBringer, as well as links to its Kickstarter campaign where you can pre-order yours, can be found at the product’s official site right here.
