A Message to Netflix From Albert Brooks

In case you were enjoying your Fourth of July/Canada Day double header in a drunken stupor, you may not have heard some exciting news for comedy fans and Netflix subscribers. If not, we’re pleased to inform you that all of the movies directed by Albert Brooks (who the general public best knows for his work as Marlin in the Finding Nemo movies) have made their way to Netflix for the first time.

Those films include Real Life, Modern Romance, Mother, Lost in America, Looking for Comedy in the Muslim World, Defending Your Life, and The Muse. I’ve only seen three of them myself, but it’s still exciting to have them all ready and waiting to be watched the next time I’m in the mood for Albert Brooks’ patented self-centered boob persona.

If you’re not familiar with Albert Brooks’ work, the comedian and Netflix have wisely produced a kind of introduction to his work through one of his trademark desk pieces. You can watch  A Message To Netflix From Albert Brooks below – if it doesn’t make you laugh at least once, you can safely ignore this news.
