Rocket Coffee Table by Stelios Mousarris (Photos)

Old-school space age dreams are the order of the day in the new design by Stelios Mousarris. It’s called the Rocket Coffee Table, so named for the cartoon-inspired “rocket ships” that provide the base and primary visual impression of the table.

Each of the Rocket Coffee Table’s five legs are kinetically designed rockets depicted as blasting off to some far-away planet—or at least it looks that way.  Thanks to the invisible nature of the table’s surface, you can even check out the rockets’ trajectories from a God’s eye view. And the legs are moveable, not attached to the table, so you can create a variety of different formations and change up your coffee and magazine game even more.

The Rocket Coffee Table doesn’t cost quite as much as a NASA space exploration project, but at $5,647 you could probably get a decent trip up to the top of your office building going. Still, you can head to the Stelios Mousarris online store here to order yours, and check out a few photos of the table in the gallery below.
