Batman: The Killing Joke

Must be something in the air or the zeitgeist encouraging animated versions of Batman. The newest one is Batman: The Killing Joke, an animated adaptation of the infamous comic by Alan Moore. And unlike most animated DC Comics films, The Killing Joke will actually be seen in theaters, albeit for one night only.

That night is July 25th, when Batman: The Killing Joke will get 7:30 and 10 PM shows in all of its R-rated glory. Those that attend the event will also be treated to a special introduction from Mark Hamill, the voice of The Joker, as well as a documentary all about Hamill’s iconic performance of the character that goes back decades.

You can see where Batman: The Killing Joke is showing near you at the show’s Fathom Events listing right here. Just remember, if you have kids, abide by the Deadpool rule and please don’t bring them to this one.
