“Flu Game” Pop-Up Shop From Jordan Brand Coming to Utah
June 11th, 1997: Michael Jordan leads the Chicago Bulls to a 90-88 win and 3-2 series lead against the Utah Jazz in game 5 of the NBA Finals, even though he was suffering from the flu. It’s come to be known as the “Flu Game,” and in three days (to celebrate the 19th anniversary) Jordan Brand is opening a pop-up shop in Utah centered on JB’s whole “Flu Game” line.
The Jordan Brand “Flu Game” retro has already moved millions of units, with more to be sold at the pop-up, but there will also be a special offering that hasn’t been available previously: The Air Jordan 12 “Flu Game.” The pop-up will take over Salt Lake City’s Fice Gallery at 2:30 PM on June 11th, according to this tweet from Jordan Brand:
You can stay tuned to outlets like this one for more information on this very special Jordan Brand retail event, and if you want to check it out in person you still have a few days to make your way to Salt Lake City.
