Frankie Sinatra

It’s been 16 long years since The Avalanches released their first (and, until later this summer, only) album, the legendary Since I Left You. Fans have been clamoring for the followup ever since, and now they finally have their first real taste with new lead single “Frankie Sinatra,” with assists from Danny Brown and MF Doom.

“Frankie Sinatra” comes with an accompanying music video that may have been slightly inspired by Larry Cohen’s The Stuff, if somebody fell asleep watching the first five minutes of The Stuff while high on a substance as yet to be classified by scientists. In short: It’s a weird video.

You can see how weird by taking a look at the video for “Frankie Sinatra” by The Avalanches below. The album is called Wildflower, and it’s coming out on July 8th, 2016.  You can pre-order it directly from The Avalanches’ official site right here.
