‘Inferno': Latest Robert Langdon Thriller Gets Teaser (Video)
Robert Langdon, the Harvard symbologist protagonist of The Da Vinci Code and other less famous thrillers by author Dan Brown, is continuing his big-screen escapades in Inferno—a movie that, based on its new teaser, would appear to up the ante on previous installments by placing its hero in a race to save the world from a deadly plague.
Naturally, he (as played again by Tom Hanks) has to do this by following a complex set of clues and riddles based in the world of historical art—in this case, Dante’s “Inferno,” the segment of the author’s classic poem Divine Comedy that provides much of what we in the modern, secular world think of as Hell.
But why should I explain it when Mr. Langdon can do a much better, more entertaining job in the teaser for Inferno below. Appropriately, given the film’s apparent horror-adjacent trappings, it’s hitting theaters on October 28th. In the meantime, you can visit its official Facebook page right here.
