‘Del Toro in Colors’ Supercut Demonstrates Director’s Color Palette (Video)

A few months ago you may have seen Kubrick in Color, a supercut that illustrated the master filmmaker’s distinctive use of color over the course of his career. Now, another supercutter is applying a similar idea to director Guillermo del Toro for Del Toro in Colors.

Del Toro in Colors shows just how colorful del Toro’s films can be, from the Hellboy series and Blade II to the more recent (and explicitly chromatic) Crimson Peak. It’s like a distilled shot of Guillermo del Toro, extra colorful, injected right into your rods and cones, and condensed to only a little over three minutes.
