Cuban Commercial Flights From the US Coming Back This Year
Loosening restrictions on travel and trade between the United States and Cuba have reached another milestone, with the two nations signing an agreement to resume commercial air travel after a flight freeze of five decades. Now, Cuban commercial flights are scheduled to resume as soon as this fall.
Airlines are currently competing for the best and most lucrative Cuban commercial flights, but there will be at least one complication in traveling to Cuba compared to other places: you will reportedly have to declare to authorities why you’re visiting the country (I don’t know if “to get drunk and listen to Cuban music” is too specific a declaration or not).
Stay tuned for more information and booking opportunities regarding Cuban commercial flights soon, but for now you can read a more in-depth article about the historic agreement between the United States and Cuba at the ABC News site right here.
