Bosch VR

It’s evidently now a trend for famous artists to be given the virtual reality treatment. First we had Salvador Dali, and now none other than Hieronymus Bosch has his very own app. It’s called Bosch VR, and it allows users to explore Bosch’s famous The Garden of Earthly Delights in interactive 360 degrees.

In playing with Bosch VR, you might be surprised to find how fresh and new Bosch’s work seems in 2016, even though The Garden of Earthly Delights was completed more than 500 years ago. His crazy fantasy characters and creepy imagery fits right into today’s comic-book-inflected world, all the more so in virtual reality form.

To experience Bosch VR, you have to download the free app and have the means to operate virtual reality software, but you can check out a trailer for the app below. If you like what you see, you can find links to download and more info at the app’s official site right here.
