Narconomics

I’ve heard it said that it’s never too late for a career change. It’s a Friday afternoon as I write this, which is a time well-suited to contemplating a change in jobs. And so I bring you word of the new book Narco-nomics: How to Run a Drug Cartel by Tom Wainwright.

Narco-nomics covers the field of illegal narcotics from a purely economic and business-oriented perspective, a surprisingly easy thing to do if you’re not used to thinking about the drug trade in simple terms of supply and demand or research and development. Public relations and even community outreach are covered, too, although I don’t remember Walter White doing much of either of those.

Narconomics: How to Run a Drug Cartel comes out later this month, and you can place your order now for around $20 at Amazon’s listing for the book right here. They have a pre-order price guarantee, too, which I’m sure is more than you can say for most drug lords.
