Jerry Seinfeld’s Porsches Going Up for Auction
Jerry Seinfeld is the owner of one of the most famous car collections of all time, with a particular focus on Porsche automobiles. But despite that, the comedian says “I’ve never bought a car as an investment, I don’t really even think of myself as a collector, I just love cars,” in the auction listing for three of Jerry Seinfeld’s Porsches.
Those three Porsches are the 1955 550 Spyder, 1958 356 A 1500 GS/GT Carrera Speedster and 1974 911 RSR IROC, and fortunately for Seinfeld the news that he’s putting them up for sale doesn’t mean he’s hard up for cash, as he goes on to say, ““I still love these cars, but it’s time to send some of them back into the world, for someone else to enjoy, as I have.” That’s quite the selfless gesture considering his famously self-centered comedic persona.
You can check out Jerry Seinfeld’s Porsches soon to be on the auction block in March at the Gooding & Co. site here, where there are also a wide variety of other classic cars up for sale.
