‘Fantastic Cities: A Coloring Book of Amazing Places Real and Imagined’ (Photos)

Coloring books: They’re not just for kids anymore. I mean, OK, in general terms, coloring books are still mostly for kids, but there is at least one adult coloring book out there, and not the pornographic kind. I’m talking about Fantastic Cities: A Coloring Book of Amazing Places Real and Imagined by illustrator Steve McDonald.

Fantastic Cities: A Coloring Book of Amazing Places Real and Imagined presents a pleasing blend of real and fictional locales for the discriminating adult colorer, rendered in detailed, architectural style from a God’s-eye-viewpoint. Cities include “New York, London, and Paris to Istanbul, Tokyo, and Melbourne, Rio, Amsterdam, and many more,” with some made-up, psychedelic cityscapes thrown into the mix as well.
