Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation

Mission: Impossible is the only Hollywood action movie franchise that actually seems to care about physical stunts, and it’s all thanks to star Tom Cruise‘s mania for them. And a new featurette on Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation is all about what’s sure to become the movie’s most iconic stunt, featuring Tom Cruise hanging off the side of an airplane in flight.

The image of Tom Cruise clinging to an airplane has been all over the marketing materials for Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation , but this “Stunt Featurette” specifically touts how the stunt was actually performed by Tom Cruise himself. It’s the mark of a good stunt that you can see it a million times before the movie comes out and it’s still exciting when you finally see it in a theater, which seems to be the case with this one.

You can see the Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation featurette below, and for more on the movie, which opens on July 31st, check out its official site here.
