Did you know that American troops in Vietnam had a standard issue wristwatch as part of their array of equipment? It’s true, and surprisingly it didn’t constantly display that it was “Screw This O’Clock,” instead displaying the time accurately. Now, you can own a 1960s US Vietnam Military Watch in a more durable, modern version courtesy of the Cool Material shop.

The real 1960s US Vietnam Military Watch was made out of plastic and designed to be disposable (one could probably make a political metaphor there, but I’ll let you handle that for yourself), but this new replica version is a sturdier, more elegant version of the watch, while looking more or less identical from the outside.

The Cool Material 1960s US Vietnam Military Watch is available in two colorways – black and olive – which you can check out in the gallery below. If you like what you see, head over to the Cool Material online store here, where the watches are priced at $55.95 apiece – just make sure you have an exit strategy before you go.
