On My Way: Amazon Considering Crowdsourced Delivery System
Prime Day: Amazon’s Birthday Celebration Promises “More Deals Than Black Friday”
Online shipping monolith Amazon.com is turning twenty years old this month, and to celebrate it’s not just having a quiet evening at home with a couple friends. Instead, it’s throwing a huge shopping bash, with promises of “more deals than Black Friday” on the day before their 20th birthday. It’s called Prime Day, this July 15th.
Prime Day will be available only to subscribers of Amazon Prime in U.S., U.K., Spain, Japan, Italy, Germany, France, Canada and Austria. But the good news is that even if you’re not a subscriber, you can get a free 30-day trial now and be able to participate. Amazon is promising a new deal every ten minutes across practically every shopping category offered by the site, so it might be worth signing up just to give it a shot – you could even get most of your Christmas shopping done several months in advance this year.
You can get a little bit more info on what Amazon has in store for Prime Day at the event’s official site here, where you can also learn how to sign up for that free Prime trial.
