Annie Leibovitz Shoots ‘Star Wars’ Cover for ‘Vanity Fair’
Apparently when the Star Wars gang aren’t flying through space and delivering clunky yet lovable dialogue to each other, they’re hanging out with legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz, whose Star Wars: The Force Awakens photo is gracing the cover of the upcoming issue of Vanity Fair.
Star Wars diehards will probably approve of Annie Leibovitz’s work on the cover (especially since it includes Han Solo and Chewbacca), but they will almost certainly take issue with the cover’s tagline of “The Empire Reboots,” given that The Force Awakens is NOT a reboot, but a sequel. We’ll have to wait to see if the Vanity Fair Star Wars cover story addresses this discrepancy at all.
