Fondazione Prada Milan Headquarters Unveiled (Photos)

Fondazione Prada (Italian for Prada Foundation) is an offshoot of the Prada brand dedicated to inspiring artists and generally enriching the world through culture. The foundation has recently given the public a look at its brand new 205,000 square foot headquarters in Milan, and it’s definitely a unique space.

The child of Miuccia Prada and Patrizio Bertelli, Fondazione Prada finds its new digs in seven preexisting buildings (formerly an almost 100-year-old distillery) and three newly built ones. And it’s home to several different artistic exhibits, including a primer on classical sculpture and pieces by Damien Hirst, David Hockney, Yves Klein, and even a cafe designed by filmmaker Wes Anderson.

You can see some photos of the new Fondazione Prada HQ, including a very cool piece that appears to be a dentist chair set-up suspended in a fish tank, in the gallery below. It opens to the public on May 9th, and you can find its official site right here.
