The Big Max

McDonald’s is rolling out a new menu called “Create Your Taste,” which lets customers create their own custom burgers out of specially selected ingredients via touchscreen, which are then freshly made by the restaurant staff. And one brave hero decided to test the menu’s full capabilities, creating one he calls The Big Max. Here’s the insane ingredient list:

  • 10 slices of American cheese
  • 10 slices of sharp white cheese
  • 10 slices of pepper jack cheese
  • 10 pieces of bacon
  • 10x pickles
  • 10x red onions
  • 10x guacamole
  • 10x tortilla strips
  • 10x lettuce
  • 10x tomatoes
  • 10x jalapenos
  • 10x grilled onions
  • 10x grilled mushrooms
  • with 10x Mac Special Sauce, 10x mayo, 5x spicy mayo, 10x sweet BBQ sauce, 10x creamy garlic sauce, 10x mustard, 10x ketchup

And incredibly, the McDonald’s visited by The Big Max’s creator (Moshe Tamssot) actually provided him with this monstrosity, albeit with a lot of the ingredients on the side. He managed to compile it into the towering masterpiece you see above, but he also posted a video of its creation on YouTube.

You can watch that video below, and see The Big Max in all its delicious/disgusting glory. It probably won’t become a regular menu item any time soon, but if any McDonald’s in your area (find one here) are offering the Create Your Taste menu, you can make one yourself – just keep your eye on the price tag, since it was only a bug in the system that kept Tamssot from being charged over $800 for his magnum opus.
