Leatherman Tread Wearable Multi-Tool
The word “wearable” tends to apply to stuff like smartwatches or fitness trackers these days, but there is another subset of products that are wearable in a more low-tech, timeless way. For instance, there’s the new Leatherman Tread, Leatherman’s multi-tool designed to be worn on the wrist.
Basically, each metal link that makes up the Leatherman Tread is actually a small tool that can be added, subtracted, or swapped out from the bracelet as a whole. Tools include screwdrivers, wrenches, glass breakers, and a lot more – even the the clasp doubles as a bottle opener (and triples as a #2 square drive).
There’s even a version of the Leatherman Tread that includes the Leatherman Tread QM1 watch, but that won’t be available until the fall of 2015.
