Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens

A New Hope. The Empire Strikes Back. Attack of the Clones. We all know the various titles that the different episodes of the Star Wars saga go by, but the upcoming installment of the mildly popular Star Wars film series has up to this point been known simply as Star Wars: Episode VII. Now, though, an official title has hit the internet: The Force Awakens.

I’m not sure if Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens rolls off the tongue as easily as just Episode VII, but at least now you can be aware of what people are talking about when they say The Force Awakens. And you can also expect a lot of mockery/scorn/hatred of the title from Star Trek geeks on social media, because if there’s one thing those guys hate, it’s Star Wars.

Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens is set to hit theaters on December 18th, 2015, so you have more than a year to get used to the title. For more, head over to the film’s official website here.
