Timberland Unveils Fall 2014 Collection With New Online Lookbook (Video)
BAPE Releases ‘Planet of the Apes’ Capsule Collection (Photos)
Fashion label BAPE and the 20th Century Fox Planet of the Apes media franchise would seem to be natural partners, given that the A Bathing Ape brand earned its name because founder Nigo is a huge fan of the Planet of the Apes movies. Now, the connection between these two entities is coming to a head, with the BAPE Planet of the Apes fall 2014 capsule collection.
The BAPE x Planet of the Apes capsule collection includes hoodies, t-shirts, crewnecks, and more, bearing officially licensed Planet of the Apes logos and imagery. But bad news for you old-school Apes purists – while there’s not a Franco in sight, there are a couple pieces based on various sequels and prequels to the original 1968 classic.
The BAPE Planet of the Apes collection is set to hit select A Bathing Ape stockists on Saturday, September 27th, so be sure to set your on-board navigational computers accordingly. Until then, you can see a few photos of the collection in the gallery below, and for more head over to the BAPE website here.
Enjoy, you maniacs:
