It is apparently a great time to be alive if you’re a fan of specialty watches. The latest is the Garmin Approach S6, a smart golf watch that Garmin says is their lightest and slimmest, among its other pretty impressive features.

Those features combine those of two other pre-existing products – watches with GPS capabilities (naturally, given Garmin’s history as a GPS company), and golf swing trackers you wear on your wrist while you play. The Approach S6 does the work of both, with swing metrics, Dedicated CourseView, a pin locator, and more. And it all happens on a big and bright glove-friendly touchscreen. And it includes distance data on more than 30,000 golf courses all over the world.

You can read more about the Garmin Approach S6 golf watch on Garmin’s website for the product here. It goes for a little under $400, but I’m sure that if you spend a lot of time golfing you’re good for it.
