When it comes to companies with a bold and distinctive visual history, Coca-Cola is pretty much the top of the heap. So a redesign of the brand’s UK corporate HQ presented a unique challenge to architect Linda Morey-Smith and her firm MoreySmith. The result is yet another corporate headquarters that looks like it makes showing up to work in the morning fun.
MoreySmith had to incorporate more than a century’s worth of Coke iconography into a design that looks forward into 2014 and beyond. And from the pictures of the office space, it looks like they did a pretty good job. Parts of it look like an old-timey soda fountain, and (naturally) there’s plenty of room for Coke machines (although it seems to me that Coke employees shouldn’t have to pay for Coke).
You can see those pictures of the new UK Coca-Cola headquarters in the gallery up top. And for more from MoreySmith, just head to their website here.
