The new DSC-RX100M III camera from Sony will be hitting retailers next month, and Sony is hoping that the camera will have photographers marking their calendars in anticipation.
The Sony DSC-RX100M III retains features that will be familiar to anyone who used previous model cameras in this Sony line, most notably the tilting LCD display engineered for optimum selfie capability. But Sony has also thrown in some new features, like its Electronic Viewfinder that pops up and packs an OLED display of 1.4 million dots.
On the Sony DSC-RX100M III camera’s $798 pre-order listing on Amazon here, the retailer states the following: “Due to high demand we anticipate being unable to fulfill all customer orders with our first allocation. Product supply from Sony is very limited.”
So it would appear that Sony has done a pretty good job stoking consumer anticipation for this new model camera. And you don’t have to wait until the camera’s June 20th release date to check out some pictures of it from Sony in the gallery up top.
