As a brand, adidas is made up of a lot of different sub-sections that don’t necessarily have all that much to do with each other. But for the new adidas Pure Boost, it took a collaborative effort between the Sport Performance, Y-3, and Originals departments to create such a sneaker.
The adidas Pure Boost is engineered as the next step on performance sneakers, and to be a running shoe for any situation. This was accomplished through the brand’s Boost technology, as well as the sleek and lightweight upper. You might also notice that there’s no sock lining inside the adidas Pure Boost, which shows how confident the makers of this sneaker were in the Boost sole.
There will be four colorways for the launch of the adidas Pure Boost – “Black,” “Infrared,” “Tech Grey,” and “Solar Blue” – all of which will retail for $120. You can take a look at the sneaker in the gallery at the top, and it’s set to hit Foot Locker’s online store hereon May 14th.
