The classic car maniacs at Petrolicious have scored a real coup for their latest web video. It’s a 1964 Ferrari 250 GTO, of which there are said to be only 35 in the entire world. Far from an outdated relic, the 1964 Ferrari 250 GTO is still an impressive piece of machinery 50 years after its birth.
That is evidenced by the Petrolicious profile of the car, entitled The Ferrari 250 GTO Speaks for Itself, which has Derek Hill taking us through the car’s history and showing off a little of what it can do. Hill was an appropriate choice, as he is the son of famous Formula One champion Phil Hill, who raced the ’64 250 GTO to victory in its first ever racetrack performance back at the Daytona Continental 2000km, as well as several other subsequent races.
