Last night at the 2014 New York Auto Show, Land Rover got a lot of buzz over the unveiling of their new SUV concept, the Discovery Vision. To go along with the vehicle’s lofty name is an array of technologies that many believe will become standard in the future, but seem pretty incredible now.
The most notable of those technologies seen in the Land Rover Discovery Vision Concept is the Heads-Up Display that wraps around the vehicle’s windshield and can show the driver all kinds of information. There’s also a gesture-based control system and something called Remote Control Drive, which actually lets you use WiFi to control the Discovery Vision remotely—at restricted low speeds, of course.
