Designer Ronnie Fieg has specialized of late in taking overshadowed sneaker brands and reinvigorating them for the 21st century. His latest collaboration in that vein is with Clarks, a pair of colorways for a shoe known as the Kildare.
The Ronnie Fieg Clarks x Kildare shoe combines the crepe sole that Clarks is known for with a more rugged performance-oriented sneaker. The two colorways for the Kildare are red and Fieg’s previously used “Salmon Toe,” both with crepe soles, Ortholite footbeds, and uppers wrapped in waterproof suede.
If you care to, you can get a good look at Ronnie Fieg’s pair of Clarks Kildare colorways in the gallery up at the top of this page, via Highsnobiety. And if you like what you see, you can grab a pair from Kith NYC (check out their website here), who have an exclusive deal to sell the shoes starting on April 26th, when the sneaker is set to drop.
