2014 Mercedes SL400
In terms of performance, the new Mercedes SL400 boasts a 3.0 liter biturbo V6 that propels it with less displacement (about half a liter less, to be more precise) than the SL350’s engine. It’s more fuel-efficient as well, earning a claimed 32.2 miles to the gallon according to Mercedes, which also claims a rate of acceleration from 0 to 62 miles per hour of only 5.2 seconds.
The 2014 Mercedes SL400 would appear to be a pretty impressive piece of work by Mercedes. But unfortunately for Stateside fans of the auto brand, it will probably be restricted to European markets for the most part. To placate yourself over this reality, I recommend printing out the picture of the SL400 at the top of this page and pretending to drive it around your desk, complete with “vroom vroom” sounds.
