The internet is home to a lot of aesthetically dubious representations of pop culture characters, but it’s a little bit unusual to see a professional artist devote much time to “fanart.” Zach Jordan is the exception, as he has a whole section on fanart (that’s actually the term he uses) on his website, and the works range from inspired reproductions to interesting works in and of themselves.
The characters rendered by Zach Jordan’s art include usual suspects like Batman and the cast of Game of Thrones, as well as more obscure and less easily identifiable characters. Some of them are simply posing for a portrait, and others are shown in more candid moments (like a picture of Batman spying on a woman with binoculars). And then there are the crossovers, which show, for instance, Freddy Krueger battling Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Batman hanging out with Liam Neeson in Taken.
You can check out a small sample of Zach Jordan’s pop culture fanart in the gallery up at the top of the page, but for a lot more you should take a look at his website here.
