Shia LaBeouf art show

We haven’t really been covering the recent antics of Shia LaBeouf on these pages, but now that he’s turned his insanity into an actual art installation, it seemed like a good time to chime in.

In case you haven’t been following this, it started when Shia LaBeouf was accused of plagiarizing writer Daniel Clowes for a short film he wrote and directed. Then his behavior got increasingly bizarre, with virtually all of his comments on the matter being discovered as plagiarized from other sources. Now, it’s culminating in #IAMSORRY, an art installation in which visitors enter a Los Angeles room one at a time and come face-to-face with Shia LaBeouf. Or perhaps I should say “face-to-bag,” since he’s wearing a paper bag with “I AM NOT FAMOUS ANYMORE” written on it in black.

You can read a more detailed account of Shia LaBeouf’s #IAMSORRY art show here. And if you want to check it out for yourself, you have until Sunday, February 16th to do so.
