Almost a month ago we told you about adidas’ release of the Kobe 1 sneaker under its new moniker, the Crazy 1. Now, adidas has unveiled a new colorway for the Crazy 1 that mirrors the circumstances of its rise to fame 13 years ago at the 2001 NBA All-Star Game. It’s the “2014 All-Star” Edition of the Crazy 1, which has a pretty crazy visual style to match its name.
The adidas 2014 All-Star Edition Crazy 1 sneaker has a purple upper with black paint splatters and a dark beige midsole with multicolored diagonal stripes. It definitely seems like adidas took a kitchen sink approach to the visuals of this edition of the Crazy 1, and why not? It is called the Crazy 1, after all.
