If the future is going to have a lot less gasoline in it, then it’s a good thing Honda is working on a FCEV (fuel-cell electric vehicle) for 2015. They unveiled their FCEV concept car at the LA Auto Show, but they’re telling consumers that much of what they saw will be present when the car rolls off production lines for 2015.
The Honda FCEV is said to be able to go up to 300 miles on one 100kW hydrogen fuel cell stack—an unfortunate necessity, since early adopters might have to drive that far in between fueling stations. It also sports an incredibly futuristic look. Minority Report, here we come!
Expect more info on the Honda FCEV, as well as news regarding advancements in the FCEV field from other automakers, in the months to come. For now, check out the photos of the car from LA in the gallery up top, courtesy of Autoblog.
