I just watched Terminator 2 again, and one of the things that struck me was that the liquid-metal T-1000 never wears any cool sneakers. That probably wouldn’t be the case if he had traveled to late 2013, because then he would have had the “Liquid Metal” pack from Nike to choose from.
Made up of the Air Max 1 and the Dunk Sky Hi SP, each in two different shiny metallic colorways, the “Liquid Metal” pack looks almost too good to be true. A subtle touch can be seen on each sneaker’s tongue—it’s the chemical symbol from the periodic table seen on the shoe, so Breaking Bad fans might want to jump on this too.
You can take a look at the “Liquid Metal” pack from Nike in the gallery up top. And watch for it in select Nike retailers in the next few weeks.
