New from adidas comes their competitor for the Nike+ FuelBand SE that was recently unveiled. And it has an even more convoluted name (apparently a rule for these kind of products). It’s the adidas miCoach SMART RUN SmartWatch. Rolls off the tongue, right?
Powered by Android 4.1.1, the adidas miCoach SMART RUN SmartWatch tracks your exercise and fitness goals independently from your smartphone – so theoretically you could be the first person on your block to own a smartwatch while still using a flip phone to make calls. And in addition to the fitness-tracking features, the miCoach SMART RUN can also connect to your mp3 player, in case you’re the type who finds it difficult to move without a soundtrack.
The Adidas miCoach SMART RUN SmartWatch is set to hit select retailers and adidas’ online store hereon November 1st, for the price of $399. Until then, you can peruse some pictures of the watch in action via the above gallery.
