Long ago, the Swedish fashion retailer H&M was known as “Hennes Mauritz,” which is a combination of “Mauritz Widforss,” a mens’ outdoor clothing store; and “Hennes,” a retailer specializing in clothes for women. Back in the 1940s, the two combined, and the rest is for the history books.
H&M is now looking back at the mens’ outdoor segment of their history with the Mauritz Archive Collection. The result is a thoroughly modern spin on outdoor staples that have been around for generations.
The Mauritz Archive Collection of apparel and accessories can be seen in the gallery up top. As for release and availability details, the capsule collection will be available from H&M retailers and online starting on September 19th.
