Proposed H&M Advertising Causes Controversy (Video)

Times Square in New York City is pretty much the nexus of outdoor visual advertising, with more billboards and flashing logos per square foot than any other place on the planet. But according to some New York residents, fashion retailer H&M is going too far with their recently unveiled plans in the area.

As you can see in the rendering above, H&M will be plastering its logo across the top of the 48-story Condé Nast Building in the heart of Times Square. The 70′ by 70′ signs would be visible for several miles, thus becoming an actual part of the New York skyline.
