Maserati has a bold plan to start selling at least 50,000 cars every year – a lofty goal for a niche luxury auto brand like Maserati. To help them do it, they have released the 2014 Maserati Ghibli, which is said to be the first car in the company’s history to run on diesel fuel.
The 2014 Maserati Ghibli is set to make its debut at the upcoming Shanghai Motor Show, and will be available in two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. Both editions will be powered by two V6 engines; however, only one will run on diesel.
Performance and pricing details are still to come, but you can check out a few pictures of the 2014 Maserati Ghibli in the gallery at the top.
