If you’ve ever visited Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, it’s a cinch that you’ve wondered what exactly is inside the famous Cinderella Castle. Originally, the castle was supposed to house a private suite for Walt Disney and his family to stay in when they visited the park. But after Walt’s untimely death before the park was finished, this aspect of the castle was abandoned.
Or at least it was until 2005, when the people at Disney decided to finally finish the suite. Now the hotel room is home to some completely over-the-top furnishings, including actual furniture from the 17th and 18th centuries, as well as a jacuzzi beneath a ceiling full of illuminated “stars.”
Unfortunately, the hotel suite is only used for promotional events and whatnot, so it can’t be booked, no matter how rich you are. But there are some photos of the room in the gallery above, and a thorough video tour can be seen below. So for now, this may be just about as close as you’ll get to actually seeing the Cinderella Castle in person.
