‘The Passenger’ in Madrid: A Bar That Feels Like a Moving Train (Photos)

In the last 50 years or so, train travel lost a lot of its former glory. But if you happen to be visiting Madrid any time soon, you can recapture the golden age of train travel at The Passenger, a bar that’s been meticulously engineered to make guests feel like they’re on a moving passenger train.
The illusion goes beyond just the furniture and the decor. The killer apps of The Passenger are the “windows,” which are actually big TV screens displaying synchronized video taken from real trains all over the world.
It’s definitely a cool idea for a bar. Maybe if The Passenger takes off, there will be a cargo train equivalent for people who want to feel like boxcar hoppers.
