Marc Jacobs Unveiled as New Creative Director for Diet Coke (Video)
Fashion designer Marc Jacobs is getting into the soda business in 2013. He’ll be serving as the new creative director for Diet Coke (taking the position from Jean Paul Gaultier), just in time for the brand’s 30th anniversary in the European markets.
To commemorate the occasion, the brand is unveiling a new campaign entitled “Sparkling Together For 30 Years.” As part of the campaign, Jacobs has designed new packaging that he describes as “whimsical” and “feminine,” as well as an array of other advertising efforts across Europe.
