The Converse All Star is often billed as “the oldest sneaker in the world.” But that doesn’t mean the brand won’t give it a makeover for 2012. Take for example the new All Star Lifestyles Hi, which adds bright yellow accents to a primarily burnt orange upper, along with elastic rubber laces and a a new molded insole.
Unfortunately for American Converse fans, these shoes are (for now) exclusive to the Japanese market, where they’re retailing for about 127 American dollars. So if you want one, you’ll have to either head to a select retailer in Japan, or resort to the secondary market.
