Armageddon

Lately, there’s been a trend among breweries to try and make the strongest beers they can, with much more alcohol content than your average brew. The latest beer to be released to that end is Armageddon from Scotland’s Brewmeister Brewery.

Billed as “the world’s strongest beer,” Armageddon has a staggering alcohol content of 65% at 130 proof!

Just for some perspective, that makes it stronger than heavy hitters like vodka, whiskey, and tequila. It’s hard to imagine what a beer packed with that much alcohol would taste like, but the Brewmeister Brewery says Armageddon should be sipped “like a fine whiskey” and that “the beer has a lot of flavour – malty, hoppy, slightly sweet and lots of yeast still in the beer.”

Look for it to hit shelves this November, just in time to get sloshed for the holidays!
