The Brooklyn Barclays Center is “The Most High-Tech Stadium In Sports”

The new home of the Brooklyn Nets, the Barclays Center, is being billed as “the most high-tech stadium in sports.” With that kind of title, you might expect the Barclays Center to have teleportation pods or cyborg food vendors – the truth isn’t quite that exciting, but it comes close.

You can check out the new stadium in the video below which showcases many of the stadium’s features, like free wifi, a mobile app that allows you to order concessions from your seat, a three-story tall scoreboard, and the Oculus – a giant 360-degree LED marquee encircling the exterior of the stadium. There are also some low-tech touches, like scoreboards viewable by pedestrians outside, and Jay-Z‘s highly secretive second-floor 40/40 Club.
